CR Lenses – Clear lenses without anti-reflective coating

The difference between regular and special lenses lies solely in the prescriptions, as regular lenses are available in specific prescriptions, while special lenses cover a wider range of prescriptions.

Lenses with anti-reflective coatings can also be made with photochromic and transition technology, where the lens color changes more quickly in response to light.

The Blue Cut filter is a surface layer with multiple coatings that significantly reduces the impact of blue light on the eyes and reflects light with wavelengths ranging from 380 to 500 nm.

Transition Lenses – Lenses with a prescription that transform into sunglasses when exposed to light

They are used to protect the eyes from glare and UV rays. The level of darkening depends on the lighting conditions and to a lesser extent on the temperature conditions.
